2016 LaCrosse. Loaded. 14k miles. Needs an oil change and the XM subscription is expired. Surprisingly quick.

In all seriousness, this is a nice car. They’ve really stepped their game up.

LOL? No. That’s not strong enough. ROFLOL? No, still not quite right.

They haven’t invented a way to easily communicate in text how hard I am laughing.

“Needs an oil change and the XM subscription is expired.” describes every goddamn LaCrosse in the fleet to a fucking T. That’s the Enterprise motto for the LaCrosse. That’s how the LaCrosse is described to every customer who gets one.

“Here, we have a Buick Lacrosse for you. It’s got leather seats and a sunroof. Oh, and it needs an oil change and the XM subscription is expired. Have a nice week.”

Hold down the traction control button for 5 seconds and it turns off both traction control and stability control.

Now hoon that boat!

In all likelihood it does not actually need an oil change, they just didn’t reset the marker. Enterprise keeps its own logs of oil change mileage, because the lube techs often dont reset it. Also, the XM comes expired, because Enterprise wont pay for it. In anything.

But what if the Borg attacks? Did Enterprise fit your Buick with photon torpedoes?

Really? Wow. That sucks. When I rented several cars from Entwrprise in 2012, they had XM. But, since then I’ve used Hertz since I had a friend that worked there.

Some of them slip through the cracks with the 3 month trial subscription. I’ve been in a LaCrosse with active XM. A lot of GM cars with active XM trials actually. I think it depends on whether or not the car was built on one of our bulk orders or if it was actually a consumer car they had to sell to us because they came up short on the fleet order.

I had a 2015 Verano 2 months ago while my Sonic was in the shop for a few days. It was a nice car, plenty of power, decent 6spd autobox, steering was weighted well, and soaked up bumps like a champion. The back trunk had a shocking amount of space for sedan.

Not a fan of the “vents” in the hood. But otherwise a nice looking car!

Probably yeah. I rmember a few months back the XM worked for a bit in most of our cars because XM was doing some free trail thing or something. It was neat.
